You can't put it down!
I wasn't sure what to expect as this is a new author. But I had heard about this book and so took a chance on getting it. Let me tell you, I was pulled in from page 1! Tara writes a great story, keeping you engaged and curious about what is going to happen next. How will it end? Or will it? The writing style is comfortable, like sitting in a rocking chair comfortable and you just want to snuggle into the book and be there. Which is surprising considering the intrigue and subject matter. And when you are on the last page....you say to yourself....I want more! I'm excited to read the next book.

Lucky to have been one of the first to get my hands on this novella!
The Hooker's Newsletter is quick read that doesn't lack in substance. The unique story tackles the reality of domestic violence in a satisfying, unflinching way while also packing little punches of humor throughout. I love the "cozy mystery novel" vibe it gives while technically being the complete opposite of the genre - since we are well aware that our warm protagonists are also the murderers in question.
Looking forward to this debuting author's next release!
