Stories that resonate

  I love the "cozy mystery novel" vibe it gives while technically being the complete opposite of the genre - since we are well aware that our warm protagonists are also the murderers in question. 

 Great balance of plotting and investigating! Makes the reader consider the balance between justice and legality. Creative connections. 

 The writing style is comfortable, like sitting in a rocking chair comfortable and you just want to snuggle into the book and be there. 

The Short Version:

She is a registered nurse, as well. When she's not word-crafting or caring for patients, she loves to crochet & play pickleball.

The Long Version:

Tara Bren is a book collector. Her husband insists she get rid of some books before buying more. I bet you can imagine how well that worked. There are bookshelves to be filled & adventures to be read!

She is also a yarn addict. In her home there is an entire closet filled to the brim with every color yarn imaginable. However, none of those skeins are the right color for the next project, so obviously more yarn shopping is required.

Baskets...one can never have enough. They are things that hold other things. Enough said.

Her current favorite definition is ASYLUM:

an inviolable place of refuge and protection giving shelter to criminals and debtors; an institution providing care and protection to needy individuals and especially the mentally ill.
